A recertification audit of the quality management system has been completed successfully at the SPb NIII EIZ OJSC.
A recertification audit of the quality management system (QMS) has been completed successfully at the SPb NIII EIZ OJSC for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 international standard. The recertification audit was performed by experts of the authority for certification of corporate management system, namely, the Russian Register Certification Association. The Russian Register is an IQNet member with accreditation recognized by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
The quality management system of the SPb NIII EIZ OJSC
that has been developed and implemented in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 has
been operating successfully since 2009. In the recertification audit in
February, the system’s capacity of achieving the planned results and permanent
improvement was examined. The purpose of the work was verifying the compliance
of the quality management system with ISO 9001:2008 and GOST ISO 9001-2011 as
regards engineering investigations that affect the safety of especially
dangerous, technically complicated, and unique properties including nuclear
industrial properties, and other capital structures, as well as verifying the
status of the valid QMS certification of the company for a decision on issue of
a certificate to be made. Compliance with the criteria was verified by
interviewing the company staff, analysing the provided documents, and immediate
observation of processes at workplaces. A group of two expert auditors did a
comprehensive check of administrative and production departments of the SPb
NIII EIZ OJSC.
The audit also identified strengths and areas for further improvement of the system.
As a result of the audit, the auditors concluded that the management system of the SPb NIII EIZ OJSC was designed, documented, and implemented in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, meets the audit criteria, is operating, is developed according to the continuous improvement principle, and is generally effective. By the results of the recertification audit, it was decided to issue a certificate for a term of three years.
